Representative Najat Aoun Saliba tweeted on her Twitter account, writing: “Ambassador Rami Adwan’s file was referred to the Lebanese judiciary following he was accused of harassment and abuse by two former employees of the Lebanese embassy in France.”
She added, “The Lebanese government should have lifted immunity directly to prevent investigations from being bottled.”
And she continued, “If this crime is proven, the criminal must be punished with the most severe penalties in force.”
