THE 90s Festival 2024, which will take place on Saturday-Sunday, August 10-11, 2024, is like a nostalgia party for the 90s generation. Not only music, but also pop culture shows and readings from that era are presented at this festival.
On the first day, one of the awaited performers was Laluna. The presence of this band from Bandung felt even more special because it had been absent from various stages for about 9 years.
Laluna, now fronted by Manik Prajana (vocals), Boyan (drums), and Mufti Syarief (guitar) managed to make the audience sing along. Moreover, when Laluna performed their most hit song, Sesetelah Kau Pergi, as the closing act.
“Even though my heart pretends to not be troubled anymore, right? What are you worried about? Electricity tokens?” Manik joked from the stage to the audience who have now entered married life, while performing at The 90’s Festival 2024 at Gambir Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Saturday, (10/8/2024).
On another stage, the band Wayang performed no less lively. The band from Bekasi, which was formed in 1995, performed their hits, such as Tak Selamanya, Beri Aku Cinta, and closed their performance with Dongeng.
The band, now fronted by Wahyudhi Ramdan, Fauzi Ahmad (Odji), Angga Foster, and Ronal Mahendri, performed excellently and energetically. Not infrequently, the vocalist, Wahyudhi ran to the right and left sides of the stage to build a lively atmosphere for the audience.
The 90s Festival will run until Sunday, August 11, 2024. On the last day, the festival will also be enlivened by the London, England band, Suede. (M-1)
