They complained regarding the difficulty and the syllabus of the exam, which did not coincide with what was previously taught in the chair. In addition, although the cancellation of the qualifying entry was announced, this initial subject represents a disguised exam, since there is no possibility of regularizing it, having to retry the following year as an entrant.
Samuel Segoviaone of the students aspiring to enter Medicine, spoke with New dairy and he was blunt in stating that “what we are asking for is that the subject be regular, so that we can perform it with the other subjects of the career.”
Segovia clarified that as they are only entrants they are not allowed to advance with the course, and asserted that -so far- no one has entered.
In previous notes, this medium already anticipated that applicants to the career should take an introductory course called “Introduction to Medicine”, which is bimonthly, and should be approved through two partial instances with their respective recuperatories with an equal or higher grade. to 8 to be able to access the course of the rest of the subjects of the study plan.
When asked regarding the formal presentation of his requests to the authorities of the faculty, Segovia affirmed that notes have been presented and that even the student center of the Faculty of Health has made the pertinent presentations last Wednesday, without any response until moment.

“From the student center we are extremely concerned regarding what the admission of Medicine is experiencing. We believe that there is a lack of articulation and correct communication between the cloisters, and considering that they are new entrants, there is a lot of misinformation and lack of contention,” Funes said.
Along the same lines, he confirmed what Segovia expressed regarding the presentations made by the student union, and stated that so far “we have not had a response.”
Regarding the protest, Samuel Segovia stated: “we request that the rector or the vice-rector go out and speak with us” to give the pertinent explanations.
The applicants express the decision not to raise the protest as long as their claims are not heard by the highest authorities of the house of higher studies.
The reasons behind the protest
The students denounce that of the more than 6,000 pre-registered, only 745 applicants got to get through all the filters (such as the correct pre-registration, the questionnaires without retakes, among others) to access the first part, of which they appeared at the first instance 701 and none passed.
Regarding the exam, they denounce that topics were taken that were not given in the framework of this initial chair and that the teachers are not willing to dialogue with the entrants under the sole argument that the applicants do not study.
