The OSDE Foundation Art Space announces the inauguration of the exhibition of selected works from the 5th edition of the Argentine Prize for Visual Arts, next Thursday, October 19 at 7 p.m. This edition had the novelty of extending participation to the entire artistic community, with no age limit.
The selection jury made up of Clarisa Appendino, Carolina Cuervo and Nicolás Martella, selected 57 works among 1400 registered—drawings, paintings, photographs, objects, videos, collages, sculptures and installations— that will be part of the exhibition that will take place at the Art Space of the OSDE Foundation, Arroyo 807, CABA.
The award jury, made up of: Malena Souto Arena, Alejandra Mizrahi and Sebastián Vidal Mackinson, will award the following distinctions on the opening day:
– Will be awarded two National Awards acquisition in the following categories:
– National Acquisition Award
– National Acquisition Award for 18/35 years
– 4 regional awards non-acquisition. Region I (Chaco, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Formosa, Misiones and Santa Fe); Region II (Catamarca, Córdoba, Jujuy, La Rioja, Salta, Santiago del Estero and Tucumán); Region III (Buenos Aires, Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Mendoza, San Juan and San Luis); Region IV (Chubut, La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro, Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego).
In addition, regional honorable mentions will be awarded, for the jury’s consideration. The exhibition will remain open until December 9, Monday to Saturday from 12 to 8 p.m.
