The second edition of the Mohammed V International Forum for Tolerance and Peace, organized Friday in videoconference mode, celebrated the values of coexistence and peace that have always characterized Moroccan society over several centuries.
The positions of the late Mohammed V who protected the Jewish community in Morocco were recalled during this meeting which was organized on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The speakers recalled in this regard that Morocco was and still is a land of coexistence, peace and encounter between different religions and civilizations.
Organized by the Moroccan Center for Tolerance and Interreligious Dialogue on the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day, the forum spoke at length regarding the courageous positions and in favor of peace and coexistence of the late Mohammed V , recalling the late Sovereign’s approach to tolerance and the consolidation of the cohesion of the Moroccan people with all its national and religious components, as well as His commitment to defending the human values of living together and coexistence between all religions and cultures.
