Marrakech is hosting the second edition of “MeetMed Week” from next Tuesday.
This three-day meeting stems from the EU-funded project developed by the Mediterranean Association of National Energy Management Agencies (MEDENER) and the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE).
The objective being to contribute to the energy and climate transition in the southern neighborhood, through a multi-scale, multi-partner and inclusive approach, the activities. This second edition of MeetMed Week, co-organized with the Moroccan Agency for Energy Efficiency (AMEE) will focus on the development of demonstration actions and policy reviews as well as recommendations on the harmonization and implementation implemented.
Note that the MeetMed weeks are meant to be high-level events. They are held once a year for three years in different countries. During this event, ad hoc working groups focusing on financial instruments, on energy efficiency policies and measures for buildings and appliances, and on the monitoring of energy efficiency indicators will have their own dedicated sessions. These working groups will be engaged throughout the duration of the project, which will allow for increased dialogue, dissemination of results and propagation of good practices between countries.
