A second more powerful version
The OnePlus Nord 2 does not reinvent the formula and offers continuity from the first of the name. It keeps the same aesthetic appearance, with clean lines and rounded edges for a pleasant grip. The screen meanwhile differs somewhat from the previous model, with more than one more discreet selfie lens. On the back, we discover a more imposing photo block. Moreover, if it is not his favorite field, the results are quite correct on the whole, the very saturated rendering will clearly not please everyone, just like the excess compression which is often done note.
The real strength of this OnePlus Nord 2 is its processor from MediaTek. To run its smartphone, OnePlus opts for a Dimensity 1,200 chip – with more power than the first model. This configuration ensures in all areas, whether for multitasking, playing 3D games, or simply browsing the internet. We will also greatly appreciate the fluidity of the Oxygen OS interface which remains reactive, and makes the most of the configuration to offer a good user experience. Autonomy remains correct, and promises a day at most. In return, we are entitled to the Warp Charge 65 W which allows you to recharge it to 100% in regarding 30 minutes.
Simple but effective headphones
In this pack, we find the OnePlus Buds Z. These aren’t the brand’s best-performing pair of headphones, but are overall compelling, especially given their price. These are comfortable in-ear headphones that offer a rather warm sound, very oriented towards the midrange even if it lacks sharpness and dynamics. Devoid of noise reduction, they offer good passive isolation. We appreciate the fact that the headphones are independent of each other and that the charging box is compact. On the other hand, it should not be counted on to make very audible calls, because the quality of the microphone is not its main asset. We would have appreciated additional features, especially in terms of physical controls, which are limited. It will be better to go through the phone to make its settings. Finally, on the autonomy side, the OnePlus Buds Z can work for 4 hours and to recharge them, 10 minutes will be enough to recover 3 hours of listening.
