The 22-year-old woman who was injured in the fatal traffic accident has been released from the ICU

According to information from Flashnews.gr, the 22-year-old was released from the ICU today after 15 days of hospitalization and is now being treated at the neurosurgery clinic of the Chania hospital.

The 22-year-old from Chania that morning of the fatal traffic accident was taken to the Chania Hospital with severe brain injuries and was admitted to the ICU where she was intubated and sedated.

All these days there was a restrained optimism as her strong and healthy body seemed to be fighting hard to win under the precious, scientific care of the doctors and nurses of the Intensive Care Unit.

The fatal traffic accident had occurred on August 17, in BOAK, at the height of the Galata junction, when the fatal car in which 4 young people were riding collided with a tourist van.

15-year-old Alexandros S., 19-year-old Nikos T. and 20-year-old Thodoris T. lost their lives in the terrible conflict, spreading immense sadness throughout Greece, while their death was the occasion for a protest movement in order to do everything necessary for the safe traffic of vehicles on the so-called Northern Road Axis of Crete.
