Starting today, October 2, you can register as an applicant for the 2026 United States Visa Lottery, commonly called “bombo” in Cuba. This guide will provide you with details on how to do it correctly and efficiently.

Today the new registration process for the 2026 Visa Lottery begins, officially called the Diversity Visa (DV) Program.

You will have until November to register, but it is advisable not to postpone registration. This program offers 55,000 visas to people from countries with low immigration rates to the United States, providing a valuable opportunity to obtain permanent residency in the country.

Although this process is available annually to Cubans, this year they will NOT be able to participate.

Registration for the giveaway will begin TODAY, Wednesday, October 2, at noon, and will be open until November 5, 2024.
