30 students share 340,000 yuan in scholarships

It reminds me all the time to study hard and serve my hometown…” On August 31, the Sanshan Sweet Potato Scholarship Teaching and Aid Public Welfare Service Center of Fuqing City held the 2024 award ceremony. The award-winning student representative Weng Shanni expressed her deep gratitude to her alma mater and hometown.
The Fuqing Sanshan Sweet Potato Love Teaching and Aid Charity Service Center was established in July 2024. It was initiated by Mr. Zhen Yaozai, a well-known local celebrity and outstanding alumnus of Sanshan Middle School. Many entrepreneurs and local celebrities generously donated and helped. On the day of its establishment, more than 10 million yuan was raised. This time, the center awarded a total of 340,000 yuan in scholarships to 30 Sanshan students who successfully entered Fuqing No. 1 Middle School.
It is reported that the center mainly targets middle schools in Sanshan Town, commending and rewarding teachers who have made outstanding achievements in education and teaching, as well as students who have performed well in learning, morality, sports, etc. At the same time, it also sets up scholarships to help students from families in difficult circumstances.
