From August 1 of each season, the teams are authorized to announce their signings for the following campaign. Thus, several squads wasted no time and unveiled some of their new faces. Team BikeExchange, INEOS Grenadiers and Uno X-Pro were some of the early movers in the market.

Eddie Dunbar leaves INEOS and joins Team BikeExchange

The Australian team announced the hiring of 25-year-old Eddie Dunbar. The Irishman will leave INEOS at the end of this season and will join the oceanic training until the end of 2025. In his record he has the Coppi e Bartali and Tour of Hungary titles.

It is a big change, looking for new airs and greater freedom to demonstrate its full potential in climbing. In addition to having his own opportunities, Dunbar will be part of the block that supports Simon Yates in the mountains in the Grand Tours.

Kristoff leaves for the home team

The Norwegian cyclist, Alexander Kristoff, will join the Uno X-Pro starting in 2023. The 35-year-old rider signed a contract for the next three seasons with his homeland team, where he will bring his invaluable experience to his young compatriots.

“One of the greatest Norwegian cyclists of all time is coming home. A role model and a true professional”, they said from the Pro Team to announce the arrival of Kristoff, from Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Materiuax. Proof of his validity are his three victories this campaign, together with a 3rd place in the final stage of the Champs-Élysées.
