The 1st Rabie-I 1444 corresponds to Wednesday September 28, 2022, Aid Al Mawlid Annabaoui celebrated on Sunday October 9 (ministry)

Rabat – The month of Rabie-I 1444 AH will begin on Wednesday September 28, 2022 and Eid Al Mawlid Annabawi will be celebrated on Sunday October 9, the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs announced on Monday.

The ministry said in a statement that the observation of the lunar crescent of the month of Rabie-I 1444 AH took place on Monday 29 safar 1444 AH corresponding to September 26, 2022, following sunset, specifying that “all Ministry delegates in the Kingdom and Royal Armed Forces Units associated with the sighting have confirmed the non-sighting” of the lunar crescent.

As a result, the month of Safar will have counted 30 days and the 1st Rabie-I 1444 of the Hegira will begin on Wednesday September 28, 2022 while Eid Al Mawlid Annabawi will be celebrated on Sunday October 9, according to the same source.
