The Type E was reportedly sold new in California and underwent cosmetic surgery ten years ago. Originally, it was finished in the shade called Sable, but was repainted with its current dark green and sporty leather upholstery.
It’s part of the Series 1.5, which shares similarities with the E-type models in the Series 1 and 2. On the front bumper corners of the Class 1 cars, the vehicle features a tan soft top, chrome driver’s side mirror, vented hood, and 15-inch polished wire wheels with red striped tires.
It is powered by a 4.2-liter six-cylinder engine with a twin SU carburetor. A four-speed manual transmission drives the rear wheels. It produced 183 kW and 356 Nm of torque when new.
Other features include a wood-rimmed steering wheel, Sony AM/FM stereo, rocker switches, height-adjustable rear-view mirror, and an alternative analog clock.
