The security services had received a notification, according to which the accused, 32 years old, from Minya, in 2020, threatened the two victims, A.M.A., 33 years without work, and her sister A.M.A., 18, a student from Giza, by communicating with them in writing via the WhatsApp application, and messages were sent. It includes a threat to a number of personal photos of the first victim, asking her to send sums of money in exchange for not publishing those photos, threatening and intimidating her and assaulting the sanctity of her private life.

The preliminary investigations of Colonel Ahmed Eleiwa, head of the North Upper Egypt branch of the General Administration of Information Technology, confirmed that by examining the report in question, it was found that the accused transmitted the pictures of the two victims through his mobile phone, which are several pictures of the victim, and used them without their consent by sending them those pictures on an application. what’s up.

The investigations of Colonel Walid Qarni, head of the Telephone and Postal Investigation Branch in North Upper Egypt, confirmed that the accused deliberately harassed and harassed the victim and her sister by misusing the means of communication through his phone and several other phones in order to obtain illegal sums of money in exchange for not publishing these photos.

Counselor Tamer Motee, the first general attorney for the Southern Prosecutions, ordered the defendant to be referred to the Criminal Court on charges of threatening the two victims in writing via WhatsApp using his mobile phone by publishing pictures of her and her sister.
