Seoul, South Korea, April 20 /PRNewswire/ – The 14th DN Solutions International Machine Tool Fair (DIMF) ended successfully following presenting the latest machine tool technology as well as the future direction of machine tool digitalization.
DN Solutions announced that the DIMF 2023 held from June 5th to June 8th at BEXCO in Busan and DN Solutions’ Seongju plant in Changwon was successfully completed. 4,500 customers from 55 countries including Korea, the USA, China, India and Turkey were guests.
DN Solutions has held the DIMF every year since 1997 to present newly developed machine tools and new technologies to its customers. During this time, more than 40,000 customers from Korea and abroad have attended the DIMF.
At this year’s show, DN Solutions presented a total of 65 models, including 40 new models equipped with DN Solutions’ latest technology, such as 5-axis/multi-tasking machining, highly productive automation, and intelligent manufacturing solutions. The main exhibition hall of Busan BEXCO consisted of six thematic areas such as Automation, Digital Transformation & CNC, Smart Factory & AI, ESG and Machine Technology. DN Solutions presented a number of solutions that attracted attention, including machine tools equipped with its latest machining technology, automation solutions connected to loading and unloading devices for a variety of applications, machine tools and collaborative robots, and robotic solutions, showing the cellular level automation of autonomous mobile robots.
Also, the introduction of digital twin technology caught the attention of the visitors, who might see the current condition of the machine shop and how a COBOT attached to machine tools and AMR works. DN Solutions presented its technological direction for the functions essential for intelligent machines by introducing wireless IIoT technology applied with BLE technology, wireless meter interface technology and voice recognition technology. DN Solutions also presented a no-mist solution for oil mist cleaning in the ESG zone. This solution saves energy by minimizing motor power consumption by reducing the size of the cleaner from the factory level to the individual machine tool level.
The Seongju plant, the second exhibition venue of DIMF, has been equipped with production infrastructure optimized for large-scale machine tool models for industries such as oil, gas and aerospace. Large machines for machining large parts were on display, including the vertical turning center with ram optimized for the aerospace industry, the multi-purpose bridge mill for applications such as mold machining, and a machining center for special applications using friction stir welding technology comes.
