Asunción, IP Agency.- This Tuesday the opening of the XII edition of the National Olympiad of Agricultural and Agromechanical Schools took place, at the Minga Guazú agricultural school. The activity is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock and takes place on October 1, 2 and 3.
Its objective is to “Integrate the educational community of the country’s Agrarian Education System through the XII edition of the National Olympiad of Agricultural and Agromechanical Schools, demonstrating respect, responsibility, a spirit of solidarity among students, teachers, judges and spectators and that “In turn, it stimulates the desire for success in a framework of healthy competition and contributes to the physical, psychological and social well-being of young people.”
The sports meeting brings together a total of 1,200 young people, men and women, representatives of different educational institutions that provide agricultural technical education of MAG Management, Government and Subsidized Private, coming from different parts of the country.
The student sports Olympiad is a space where members of the educational community will experience, understand and value the celebration of sports, in turn it will bring them closer to sports values, linked both to a healthy life and to the coexistence of a democratic and supportive society. .
The sports modalities of the Olympiad are: Volleyball, Field Soccer, FIFA Futsal, Handball and Athletics.
The event has the support of various public and private institutions.
