Rottenbach (OTS) – In the midst of chaos and crises: Who are the true sources of inspiration? We watch the wars in Israel and Ukraine in disbelief, worry regarding the risks of artificial intelligence, see a radicalization of politics, and are amazed at billions in bankruptcies. But even in times of disaster and despair, a wave of creativity and innovation emerges. Who are the people who inspire, motivate and excite us the most in these dark times? Dr. hcUlrich Kubinger is one of them. The VTA group under the leadership of Dr. hc Kubinger purifies water for more than 250 million people worldwide every day – he is a game changer.
Ulrich Kubinger, founder of the VTA group of companies, secured place 48 among the 100 most inspiring people in the world. He shows himself to be a pioneer in the environmental sector. Its groundbreaking processes use nanotechnology to purify 99 percent of heavily polluted wastewater. The environmental visionary’s goal: “Water for the world”, especially for the three billion people who still do not have access to clean drinking water.
His 18-year-old daughter Marlen is already appearing extremely competently as his successor. In an exclusive double interview with OOOM, father and daughter talk regarding values, faith, trust and the importance of clean water.
Marlen Kubinger, who has been employed at the company since February and is already active in various departments, emphasizes her personal commitment: “I want to be part of making water for the world a reality.” She conveys the importance of clean water as a basic right for all people. Ulrich Kubinger emphasizes that his company’s mission is not a fad. The VTA Group has existed for over 30 years, has experienced continuous growth and is committed to providing people worldwide with access to clean water.
The VTA Group is not only revolutionizing water purification. A revolutionary process makes it possible to obtain combustible hydrogen from wastewater, which not only solves the wastewater problem but also saves 80 percent of energy costs.
In addition, construction of the VTA research campus in Rottenbach is already well underway. This will serve as a research center for water and environmental technology, where scientists and experts work together to find sustainable solutions for the environment. It is planned that the VTA research campus will open in summer 2024.
