Waiters in the restaurant industry must abide by certain rules in their work, this includes the division of tips and the fine for not wearing the uniform.
-
In some places the fines are usually economic and on the rights of the worker, therefore, they are considered unfair in many countries.

The restaurant industry in Latin America has several of the most recognized establishments worldwide.
Working in a restaurant can have many advantages. Among them accessible schedules and part-time work. However, sometimes it turns out to have unfair parts.
The constant abuse, low wages, labor exploitation and sometimes the lack of a fixed schedule and salary they can cause discontent between staff who are constantly changing jobs and the industry itself.
The restaurant industry in Latin America
The restaurant industry has proven to be an indispensable factor for the growth of the economy of each country. Study Data “Knowing the Restaurant Industry” prepared by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI) together with the National Chamber of the Restaurant and Seasoned Food Industry (CANIRAC), they indicated that during 2019 the gross domestic product of this sector managed to register an approximate of 185 billion pesoswhich translates into income for millions of Mexican families.
In fact, ten of the best restaurants in the world are located in Latin America, highlighting the participation of Peru, who has three of the best four. On the other hand, Mexico and specifically the CDMX account maintains the fifth position and the eighth step. The list is completed with two restaurants in Brazil, two in Argentina and one in Chile.
However, it is a fact that not all restaurants can enjoy this popularity and recognition and there are some whose extreme standards might prevent them from growing in the industry.
“That’s why they don’t have waiters”; 50 euros, fine for not wearing the uniform
An account that is dedicated to exhibiting inappropriate and unfair behavior by companies in the restaurant industry recently shared a tweet showing a conversation. In her, the alleged boss comments that it is an obligation to be five minutes before the opening of the place already with the work uniform, what until then seems not to be something so serious, although it is unfair.
However, it is striking that the restaurant, apparently located in Spain, mentions that If this is not the case, there will be an economic fine of between 50 and 100 euros.
this of course has baffled userswho have expressed themselves in this regard, criticizing and showing that this kind of rules and treatment are recurrent in restaurants.
