Wine truck – ice cream truck for adults
“The wine truck is, just as it sounds, a small truck filled with wine. A wine shop on wheels.”
Many in the newsroom felt dreamy, but unclear if it is even legal? The invention comes from Vinoteket, who in an email asks the clientele to email in about “desires for upcoming launch areas in holiday Sweden”.

The M-top changes its name
The moderates’ top candidate for the upcoming EU elections Tomas Tobé changes his name to Tobias Tobé, Tobbe for those who know him privately and the entire Swedish people.
The party announces this in an email, with the justification: “Because everyone still says wrong.”
By “everyone” is meant the media.
We thought the media was lively and funny.

In recent years, more and more newspapers and other media channels have refrained from making jokes on April Fool’s Day with the justification that there is so much misinformation in circulation anyway.
Sydsvenskan, however, holds the flag high – and that is appreciated.
Extra daring and fun that they took on a burning hot topic: NATO and the Swedish membership.
“The southern Swede can today reveal a hitherto unknown consequence: Ven will become a naval base and at the same time will be made almost 500 meters narrower – all so that aircraft carriers can turn safely in the Öresund.”

“Now TUI is taking travelers to new heights – literally. As of April 1, 2025, the travel operator is launching holiday trips to space.”
A watershed moment – all the men in the newsroom would have liked to go on a trip to space, the women refuse.
As an April Fool? Maybe a little tired? Or too simple?

Baudin does a Jimmie – gets bands
Tobias Baudin, the party secretary of the Social Democrats, has – in honor of the first day of spring – been given a ribbon: Baudinz.
And as a coincidence, the band releases its first single today – “Give me your voice.”
Bonus that the song is there and also sticks right away.

Elon Musk joins Disney
Example of a type of luring that feels really tired – kicks one-dimensionally to the side, contains neither wink in one’s own direction nor warmth.
Musk writes on his own platform that he is joining Disney – to make the content more “woke”, or politically correct as it is called in Swedish.
Works neither as a joke nor as an April Fool’s trick. We felt snark in the editorial office.
