At the end of May my brother died in the Intensive Care Unit Surgery West, CWIN, Building A, 1st floor, in the Salzburg State Hospital. Due to his life-threatening illness, he had to undergo multiple operations and was treated in intensive care. Not only was my brother cared for very professionally and at the highest medical and nursing level, we relatives also experienced careful and loving care. Discussions with doctors were always possible. In the last hours of my brother’s life, intensive care nurse Johanna took good care of him and involved us family members in the dying process in a very caring way. Thank you for that, also on behalf of the widow and son of the deceased!
