The Presidency of the Amal Movement issued a statement, following its meeting headed by Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, in which it thanked and appreciated all those who participated in the Festival of Loyalty to the Imam of the Nation, Resistance and National Unity, under the slogan “The Wave of the Sea,” which was held in the city of Tire – Al-Qassem Square. On the occasion of the forty-fourth anniversary of the crime of the era in the disappearance of the leader Imam Musa Al-Sadr and his two brothers Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoub and the journalist Abbas Badr Al-Din.
The statement stated: “Oh the Lebanese, sons of the leader, Imam Musa al-Sadr, sons of the “Amal” movement, here you are on the covenant, the promise and the pact. And the abstaining plain, from Hermel and the steadfastness of its rocks, from Zahle and the western Bekaa, from Akkar Al-Wafa, and from the north carrying the scent of Tripoli’s blossom, from Mount Lebanon you raise its cedars high, from the capital of the capitals, Umm Al-Shara’, Beirut, and its suburb of the suns, from the south where minarets rise with churches, they ring with ears Unity and victory prayer, from Jabal Amel, wrapping the banner of Abu Dhar, and offerings from Qana al-Jalil, from Jabal al-Sheikh, Hermon, Hasbaya and Marjayoun, turbans the color of snow, and the homeland, one life, civil peace and national unity.
You have turned the city of Tire, the city of Imam al-Sadr, into a roaring sea and restless waves. To you and to everyone who participated and endured the hardship and travel, thanks to the presidents and their representatives, spiritual leaders, ministers, representatives, scholars, dignitaries, eminence, virtue and sovereignty, to ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions, to national forces and parties and Palestinian factions, to academics, professors, student and sports bodies, municipal and elective councils, health, social and scout bodies, to women’s bodies and associations and children, to the military and security forces.
We single out the Lebanese army and the security forces that sponsored this festival and ensured the safety of the crowds without recording any incident, to the judges, doctors, engineers and lawyers, to the media professionals who transmitted the reality from the land of Tire and were the messengers of the event and the speech of Imam al-Sadr.
To the loyal parents who were ahead of time and might not reach the festival arena, to the children of the “Amal” movement and the masses of Imam al-Sadr to you all: “All thanks and appreciation.”
