The former presidential candidate, Alex Char, thanked, this Monday, the support that more than 700 thousand Colombians gave him at the polls during the primary elections on Sunday, which allowed him to reach second place in the Team for Colombia coalition.
He said that this exercise leaves him with a great lesson, but also a commitment to “make visible and help solve the problems that affect people.”
“We are grateful for the support received. These more than 700,000 votes are received with great affection and encourage us to continue working for Colombia, from wherever we are, just as we discussed with thousands of Colombians during our tours throughout the country “, Char said.
He indicated that the support that Colombians gave him, he takes as a triumph and as a great step to advance in the goals that he set himself to continue working for the people who embraced him in his aspiration.
Char met, in the city of Bogotá, with the other members of the Team for Colombia on Sunday night, and they announced unanimous support for the candidacy of Federico Gutiérrez, winner of the internal consultation of his coalition, and made a first analysis on what his work will be in support of the paisa candidate.
“Colombia, here is your team! Our full support for Fico Gutiérrez, the great winner of the consultation and a new hope to transform the country,” Char wrote on his twitter account.
