Thaïs d’Escufon, far-right anti-feminist activist, dismissed after just one broadcast on Hanouna’s Europe 1

A figure of the extreme right, Thaïs d’Escufon joined Cyril Hanouna’s team in the show On marche sur la tête on Europe 1. A controversial recruitment, which ultimately ended in a very short stint, since she left the team after her first show.

What will Cyril Hanouna’s return to school look like? On the radio, it has already happened for “Baba” (his nickname), who returned on August 26 to Europe 1 at the helm of the daily program “On marche sur la tête” (4 p.m.-6 p.m.), tested during the legislative campaign, which already earned Europe 1 a formal notice in June for its “lack of moderation and honesty”the audiovisual policeman pointing out an over-representation of the extreme right.

“Don’t worry, we have a lot of left-wing people around the table.”launched Cyril Hanouna on Monday, August 26, addressing the independent authority, surrounded by columnists such as the former spokesperson for the Communist Party Olivier Dartigolles… and Thaïs d’Escufon, the former spokesperson for Génération Identitaire, an ultra-right movement dissolved in 2021.

Ousted after a show

The latter’s experience on Europe 1 will have lasted only one show, the influencer having confirmed to AFP on Friday her eviction from “On marche sur la tête”, announced by Puremedias.

Asked by AFP, Lagardère Radio assures that the decision was taken by H20, Cyril Hanouna’s production company. “We agreed after this first” that Thaïs d’Escufon “was not suitable for the role of columnist”also explained an H20 executive to Puremedias.

Dear @CBenquedid you really “react very badly” to my presence on @Europe1 ?

The woke propaganda that is poured out all day long in the media (not yours, fortunately) may have distorted your view.

How about we discuss it here? ud83dude0a
