Earlier, the International Football Federation (FIFA) announced new rules for loan transfers to players from all clubs around the world. Its objectives are to develop youth players, reduce competitive disparities and prevent hoarding of players from major league clubs that have more budgets than mid-to-bottom teams.
The new FIFA loan rules are divided into three periods.
First period: 1 July 65-30 June 66 All clubs can borrow up to 8 people.
The second period: 1 July ’66 – 30 June ’24 All clubs can borrow up to 7 players.
Third period: 1 July ’24 onwards, every club can borrow up to 6 players.
Importantly, on loan or on loan, you can borrow no more than 3 players from a single club, including loaning out professional players more than 3 times per season. The minimum loan term is half the season. and the longest loan is just one year
Players under the age of 21 are exempt from this rule. The same applies to the players in the youth team of the club aged 15-21.
