Texas gunman wears body armor… Grandma shot and hit by car

Anderson Cooper, the suspect in the Texas massacre, allegedly shot his grandmother before entering school and collided with a vehicle near an elementary school.

Texas Public Safety Officer Eric Estrada has released a statement on the suspect’s further offenses before the massacre at Rob Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on the 24th (local time), according to CNN reports.

“The suspect first shot the grandmother, and now the grandmother was taken to hospital,” Estrada explained.

The suspect is now said to be dead. “The suspect hit a vehicle in a ditch near the school,” Estrada said.

He added, “After that, unfortunately, he succeeded in entering the school and entered several classrooms and started shooting.”

According to eyewitness testimony, the perpetrator was carrying a long rifle and bag and was wearing body armor.

Sgt. Estrada added that although it was not known exactly what type of rifle the shooter was carrying, an investigation by the Bureau of Investigation into Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is ongoing.
