In the village of Moulay Brahim, in the High Atlas mountain area, residents witnessed the tragedy of Lahcen, who lost his wife and four children due to the strong earthquake.

On Saturday afternoon, rescuers had not yet managed to remove the body of his wife and one of his children from under the rubble of his house, which collapsed in the earthquake. The bodies of two other children have already been extracted.
