Test drive Exeed TXL 2.0 – a sports crossover from China?

IT people are well aware of what it is, but in this case the answer is hidden under the hood – it’s a two-liter F4J20C engine from the Acteco family. The 1.6-liter turbo engine has not disappeared anywhere – it relies on all other TXL trim levels. And at first a logical question arises, why do we need 2.0 if the difference in power is only 11 horses (197 versus 186 for 1.6)?

Moreover, the declared dynamic characteristics also do not differ too much. Acceleration to hundreds was reduced by 0.8 seconds (now – exactly 9), and the maximum speed is 200 km / h once morest 185. Moreover, from the previous test, we know that TXL drove the speedometer needle over the “200” mark before. When starting from a standstill, you really don’t notice any differences – electronics saves clutch robotic seven-speed box. But it is clearly more comfortable for a robot to work with this engine – a large advantage in torque (375 Nm versus 275 for a 1.6 engine) allows you to confidently accelerate in one gear.
