When it comes to current iPhones, we’ve known for a few years that the larger models, although they have large screens, also have larger batteries and tend to be the champions in autonomy.
But how much better are they? And does the Pro model, with its latest generation chip and ProMotion screen, beat the Plus model with the same size screen or not?
That’s what the PhoneBuff tried to find out in his last battery test, placing the iPhone 15o iPhone 15 Proo iPhone 15 Plus and the iPhone 15 Pro Max:
After also defeating the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, the iPhone 15 Pro Max was once again the winner of this test, lasting a total of 27 hours and 44 minutes. But the iPhone 15 Plus didn’t lose by a huge margin, closing in at 27 hours and 35 minutes.
The other two were, obviously, far behind — and, in this case, with reversed positions. The regular iPhone 15 completed the test in 25 hours and 42 minutes, while the iPhone 15 Pro only lasted 25 hours and 7 minutes.
In short, anyone who wants the longest possible battery life will do well with both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the 15 Plus. On the other hand, the test brings bad news especially for those who prefer the iPhone 15 Pro…
