Tesla strikes privacy .. “shameful videos” spark widespread controversy

Tesla reassures millions of electric car owners that their privacy “has been and always will be very important to the company,” but sources within the company confirm the opposite.

Despite this promise, videos spread inside the company’s corridors from inside Tesla cars, revealing the secrets of passengers in a way that violates privacy in all its dimensions.

This came according to former employees of “Tesla”, who revealed that videos from cameras installed in Tesla cars, which are intended to assist in driving, showed “very private” footage of passengers.

According to the British newspaper “The Guardian”, the cameras recorded the passengers in “immoral” positions, and also recorded painful incidents, such as the killing of a driver or a passer-by in the street.

These “very private” videos were spreading alarmingly inside Tesla offices, according to employees, who noted that some of the videos were spreading “like wildfire” among employees.

Tesla states in its online customer privacy notice that “camera recordings remain anonymous and are not associated with you or your vehicle.”

But seven former employees told Archyde.com that the computer program they used at work might show the location of the recordings, which would likely reveal the whereregardings of the owner of the Tesla.

These reports, published by Archyde.com, raised concern, especially since the modern car is known for its ability to keep pace with the times and provide comfort through technology and electricity, without disturbing the passenger or his privacy.
