The American car manufacturer Tesla delivers, on Tuesday, its first cars manufactured in its German factory in Berlin-Brandenburg. The first 30 Model Y Performance cars will be delivered to their owners, Tesla said in a statement.

Tesla’s Berlin-Brandenburg Gigafactory was built from spring 2020 and Tesla has since been allowed to produce its Model Ys. The factory has an area of 227,000 m2 on 300 hectares of land. More than 3,000 people already work there.

The Model Y Performance offers a range of 514 km WLTP, according to Tesla.
