The 2024 models of Tesla Cybertruck are undergoing yet another recall. As reported by ArsTechnica, 2,431 copies of the car are experiencing a problem that cannot be resolved through a software update. In other words, users will have to take the vehicle to a place that performs repairs in person.

In general, this is the sixth recall that the car has received. Previously, the models had to undergo repairs due to a problem related to the reversing camera. This time, the problem was caused by a defect in the drive unit inverter, which ended up leaving one example stranded in July.

In this case, Tesla said it began investigating the situation a week after the incident. As a result, she understood that the problem was present in a bad batch of inversions used between November 6, 2023 to July 30, 2024. The recall was issued after 5 failures and warranty claims classified as “may be related to condition ”.
