This is the beautiful story of this group France. We have been talking a lot for a few weeks regarding the Joel Embiid case, but while waiting for the arrival or not of the pivot of the Sixers in the French team, the place of naturalization with the Blues has indeed been occupied since November 2021 by Terry Tarpey. And as for the girls of Valérie Garnier with Bria Hartley and especially the indescribable Gaby Williams, the back of Le Mans is seducing absolutely everyone in France. To the point of playing a real role in a major international competition? We are not so far from it the kheys.
In every team you need leaders, and you need soldiers. Role players, at each position, guys with less than 2000 followers on Twitter, and if possible that much sought-following profile of the guy who would leave his guts and bones on the field for a few scraped interceptions and offensive rebounds. So obviously, confining TT to this profile would be disrespecting him, he who has proven for five years in Sarthe that he can also be a solid striker and a real leader (8.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2, 9 assists and 1.7 steals last season). But with Vincent Collet’s group, it is truly his fierce defensive talent on the back lines that makes him a potentially major pawn on the roster. Slowly Terry has shown himself during the various international windows, establishing himself as an ideal partner on and off the field, and the media coverage of the last days of preparation for the Blues today gives him the status of a nascent darling which, added to his talent and his contribution, should without too much surprise offer the man with the wonderful initials a place of twelfth man at the Euro, and more if affinities.
Defense on the man, scraped balls in the hands or in the air, defense away from the ball too, we saw it with our eyes once morest the Czech Republic, in short everything that matters in high intensity matches, with as proof, among other things, this +/- the most effective of EDF over the last two matches of qualifications for the CDM.
