There is no question of a Ukrainian trace – this version is not for intelligent people. This is a planned operation of the Kremlin’s special services against its own citizens. This was said by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov, commenting to UNIAN on the terrorist attack on March 22, which took place in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, where unknown people in camouflage opened fire on people with a machine gun.
“Of course, we are talking about a planned operation by the Kremlin’s special services against its own citizens with the aim of discrediting Ukraine as well as the entire free world,” he stressed.
According to him, today’s strikes on energy infrastructure and civilian objects in Ukraine are part of this special operation.
“And the second phase is terrorist attacks organized by the special services of the Russian Federation. The international community was also well informed about this. That is why foreign citizens on the territory of the Russian Federation were warned,” he emphasized.

“Ukraine is waging a war of liberation against the Russian invaders, but it is waging it in a civilized manner, therefore all strikes and damage occur exclusively on military objects, both on temporarily occupied Ukrainian lands and on enemy territory. This is well known to everyone in the world, therefore, this provocation in general will not have any effect for critical thinking and intelligent people all over the world,” said a representative of Ukrainian intelligence regarding Russia’s efforts to find some “Ukrainian trace” in this terrorist attack.
Yusov emphasized that one of the key tasks of this special operation, of these crimes and terrorist attacks, is the mobilization of the population inside Russia, both political, because this is where the problems begin, and support for mobilization measures on the territory of the Russian Federation.
“Putin’s regime must respond to the increasingly growing dissatisfaction within the Russian Federation with the war in Ukraine and against Ukraine and is doing it by old means, known to Putin. After all, he started his rule with terrorist attacks against his own citizens,” said the representative of the GUR Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The first reports about the shooting in the Crocus City Hall concert hall appeared around 20:15 Moscow time. Today there was supposed to be a concert of the band “Piknik”. When the shooting started, there could have been up to 7,200 people in the building. At least five people took part in the attack, according to telegram channels close to the security forces.

Later, a video appeared showing terrorists who entered the building shooting people at close range. A fire started, several explosions occurred. Several hundred people were blocked in the building, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that 100 people were evacuated from the basement.
Emergency services arrived in Crocus City around 9:30 p.m., more than an hour after the shooting was first reported. At that time, the channel of the Cheka-ODPU wrote that the first column of special forces went on an assault. There was a report that several terrorists barricaded themselves in the building. It was also reported that four of them managed to escape.
Firefighters could not start extinguishing the fire for a long time, because the building was not cleaned. The roof of Crocus City is extinguished from helicopters, it is almost completely engulfed in fire. A roof collapse is reported.
