In Ecuador, moments of terror were experienced this Thursday, June 15, when a woman was kidnapped while her husband watched, who begged a group of men to set her free. In the midst of her despair, she offered to go with the individuals, in exchange for her partner not being in danger and she being able to escape from her.
The anguish, unleashed in broad daylight in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, was recorded on the surveillance cameras that are now a key part of the investigations. According to her, the woman would still be deprived of her freedom, while her conditions are unknown and if the family has received any demand for money to let her go.
“Take me away, but don’t take her away”
“Daddy cute, don’t take her away; mijo lindo, take me, but don’t take her away from me. Cute daddy, don’t do it ”, is heard in the clip broadcast on social networks. From the other end, three subjects approached the woman to drag her to the car that they parked right in front of that house.
She also pleaded, but her words were not heard. Immediately, that vehicle started up before two of the remaining suspects extracted a green suitcase, belonging to the couple, and there they left the place without “shocks” as if nothing had happened. When they left, the lady’s husband kept asking them to stop.
In another fragment of the security video, it is seen when these last two individuals were picked up by an accomplice on a motorcycle. Seconds later, once they had fled, the man, who did not cease his pleas, appeared at the entrance, but there was no longer any trace of the vehicle without license plates or the rest of the attackers.
As reported by Extra.ec, apparently the couple had withdrawn money from the bank that same day of the events. This medium collected the statement of a neighbor, who stated that the kidnapped woman needed to follow a rigorous medical treatment, in addition to being careful with her diet.
This resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity for her safety, said that she was from Manabí, but had grown up in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. In addition, he mentioned that the victims owned a hardware store.
At the moment there is no official pronouncement from the authorities on this fact that maintains the commotion in the neighboring country.
