Terraform Labs CEO Dohyeong Kwon, ‘active promotion’ of Terra 2.0, launched two weeks after the crash

Terraform Labs CEO Kwon Do-hyeong is actively promoting the new Terra block chain, Terra 2.0, following the Korean cryptocurrency Luna and Terra USD (UST) suffered a sharp crash.

On the 28th, Terraform Labs’ homepage, along with the phrase ‘Terra 2.0 is Here’, introduced the new Terra blockchain as the most decentralized blockchain ever released.

CEO Kwon also posted tweets related to the launch of Terra 2.0 on his Twitter on the same day, saying that the new chain name of Luna coin is ‘LUNA2’. instructed to do so.

Until the day before, he supported the Luna 2.0 plan of cryptocurrency exchanges such as FTX, Huobi, and OKX through Twitter until the day before, and he retweeted their tweets one following another, creating an atmosphere for the launch of Terra 2.0.

Terraform Labs is known to have airdropped the new Luna for free to existing Luna and UST holders. 70% of the total 1 billion Luna 2.0 tokens will be distributed to existing holders. The existing blockchain was renamed ‘Terra Classic’, and the original Luna was renamed ‘Luna Classic’.

On the 25th, two weeks following the Lunar and UST crashes, the vote to create a new blockchain Terra 2.0 ended with 65.5% in favor. According to this result, Terraform Labs pushed for the revival of the Terra blockchain, but many experts are concerned regarding the issue of trust.
