Tereza Pisteková two-goal shooter in Djurgården’s first training match

Djurgården wins its first training match before the upcoming SDHL season.
It was 3-0 against Linköping since the new acquisitions were behind everything.

On Sunday, Djurgården began its pre-season ahead of the start of the SDHL next month. Linköping was then waiting as an opponent in the first training match.

It was then the new acquisitions who showed the way for Djurgården and were behind all the goals in their first matches in the DIF shirt. For the upcoming season, Djurgården has only signed four new players – but all four ended up in the scoring record directly in yesterday’s match.

The 19-year-old Czech Tereza Pisteková immediately introduced herself by scoring 0-1 in Linköping in the first period, and the assist then came from 17-year-old center Isabelle Leijonhielm and 22-year-old defender Alva Hellqvist, who were both recruited from AIK.

The new acquisitions were behind all the goals

In the second period, Djurgården extended the lead to 2-0. Again it was Tereza Pištěková who scored the goal and this time too the goal came after a pass by Isabelle Leijonhielm.

The match ended 3-0 to Djurgården after a goal in the third period. This time, Pisteková acted as a forward and assisted 20-year-old forward Tuva Kärrhage, also recruited from AIK, who was the scorer in the DIF debut. Pisteková was thus 2+1 in her first match for Djurgården.

Three goals and only points from the four new signings in Djurgården’s pre-season premiere. In the goal, national team goalkeeper Ida Boman started solidly by saving all 15 shots she faced to keep a clean sheet.

Djurgården’s next training match is played on Tuesday when SDE is the opposition. For Linköping, however, it was a loss in their first training match, LHC also plays tomorrow when they meet HV71.
