TEPJF validates re-election of “Alito” as president of the PRI for 4 more years

By majority, in a public session, the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF), this October 3, 2024, validated the re-election of Rafael Alejandro “Alito” Moreno Cárdenas and Alma Carolina Viggiano Austria, as president and general secretary of the PRI National Executive Committee (CEN), for another 4 years, that is, until 2028.

Thus, the TEPJF today declared the constitutional and legal origin of the reforms to the StatutesDeclaration of Principles, Program of Action and Party Code of Ethics approved in the XXIV National Assembly of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) and, with this, ratified the national leadership of this political institute, headed by Alejandro Moreno and Carolina Viggiano.
