A fight between Pavlos Polakis and Adonis Georgiadis broke out in the Parliament.
It all started when during the discussion of the bill “Processing and examination of the draft law of the Ministry of Health “Sanction of the 28.3.2024 Partial Donation Agreement – Project XII, Annex 14 of the main Donation Agreement dated 6.9.2018 between the Foundation “Public Beneficial Foundation Stavros S. Niarchos” and the Greek State for the strengthening and upgrading of infrastructure in the health sector”, the Minister of Health referred to the issue that arose with the access of the uninsured to prescriptions in public structures.
Pavlos Polakis who was on the committee asked Mr. Georgiadis to re-read the provision that had been passed by the ND, with the Minister of Health calling on him not to leave and to listen to the answer.
At that moment the blood ignited:
Pavlos Polakis: Read the decision once more, Mr. Georgiadis. KYA was talking regarding hospital care. Re-read the statutory provision that talked regarding testing or prescribing.
Adonis Georgiades: Sit down. Don’t leave!
Pavlos Polakis: You work for us!
George Stylios: You don’t have the floor, Mr. Polakis.
PiAvlos Polakis: You are not a pedoman Mr. President.
Adonis Georgiades: You provoked once more. You can’t do to me what you did to Mrs. Sirengela. So sit here and listen. are you leaving Put it on your feet. You’ve always been such a coward. Go away. Ouch!
Pavlos Polakis: To revoke. He said ouch!
Adonis Georgiades: Sit down and listen
