Coco Gauff easily disposed of Briton Jodie Burrage in Eastbourne on Wednesday. In the quarter, the American will meet her compatriot Jessica Pegula.

A little hour and then it’s gone. This Wednesday followingnoon in Eastbourne, Coco Gauff did not drag on the court, inflicting a real correction on the local, Jodie Burrage (6-1, 6-1). The seeded number 5 of the British tournament flew over the meeting in all areas of the game. Despite a small 51% of first serves on serve, the American conceded only one break. Insufficient, however, to make her falter, she who pocketed six in total. Intractable also in return of service (31 points in return), the young woman of 19 years easily rallies the quarters on the grass of the south coast of England.

Coco Gauff’s opponent will be her compatriot Jessica Pegula. The latter, however, worked harder to reach this stage of the competition, dominating the Colombian Camila Osorio in three sets following 1h50 (6-2, 1-6, 6-3). Despite her inexplicable air pocket in the second set during which she won only one game, the world No. 4 steered her boat well in the other episodes of this match. Strong and precise during her face-offs, the American did not bend once while in return she stole her opponent’s serve several times.
