2023-11-12 21:25:39

Nike, Lacoste, adidas, Wilson, Babolat, Asics, Tecnifibre, Head or even the new kid, Rublo…. Nine equipment manufacturers will be represented (textiles, shoes, rackets) during these Nitto ATP Finals which are being held in Turin, from November 12 to 19.

There are eight of them and only one will remain. The best players of the season, namely Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Jannik Sinner, Andrey Rublev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev and Holger Rune, compete, from November 12 to 19, in the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.

If on a sporting level, the recent winner of the Rolex Paris Masters, Novak Djokovicseems to have a slight advantage over its competitors, what regarding the equipment manufacturers?

The Nike raid

During this 2023 edition, the most used brand of racket is Head with 4 players. Behind, we find Babolat (2), who returns to Turin following a year of absence in 2022, Tecnifibre (1) et Wilson (1).

On the textile side, Nike wins the game with three sponsored players. Lacoste (2) and adidas (2) complete the podium with two players each while Ruble (1), the brand launched by Andrey Rublev last January, will be represented for the first time in a Masters.

The ranking is essentially the same when we compare the equipment manufacturers according to the shoes of the eight “masters”. With four representatives, Nike maintains its supremacy over adidas (2), Asics (1) and Lacoste (1).
