The lucky French loser Adrian Mannarino qualified for the second round of the Atlanta tournament, winning two sets to nil (6-3, 7-6 [7]) once morest German qualifier Peter Gojowczyk on Wednesday in a night session at the Atlantic Stadion in Atlanta.

Mannarino, 78th in the world at the ATP, will face American wild card Andres Martin in the second round of the Georgian tournament.
