About 2.75 million euros for the winner of Wimbledon 2023
In detail, the winner of Wimbledon 2023 (men’s and women’s singles) will pocket the sum of 2.35 million pounds (around 2.75 million euros), the same amount as in 2019.
“We are delighted to offer record prize money this year, with double-digit increases in the majority of the tables. Our ambition regarding the distribution was to bring the bonuses for singles winners and runners-up to pre-pandemic 2019 levels, while providing increased player support in the early rounds.” commented Ian Hewitt, Chairman of the All England Club, in a press release.
A few days ago, Novak Djokovic pocketed the sum of 2.3 million euros by winning his 23rd Grand Slam at Roland-Garros.
