On August 6, special forces of the “Artan” active operations unit and the Maritime Center of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine implemented an operation in the northern part of the Black Sea.

As reported intelligence press serviceat night, a landing group of special forces landed on the Tendrivska spit and destroyed enemy armored vehicles, in particular MT-LB, the enemy’s EW complex, and also destroyed the fortifications of the Russians.

It is noted that during the battle, the Russian invaders suffered losses among the personnel – the exact number is being clarified.

“Having completed the assigned task, including the secret part of it, the military scouts left without casualties. This is not the first successful active operation of the GUR special forces on the Russian-occupied Tendrivskaya spit. The corresponding actions are only part of the large-scale plan of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, the implementation of which is ongoing,” – said in intelligence.

Tendrivska spit is a narrow island about 65 km long and up to 1.8 km wide. Kosa is located in the northern part of the Black Sea, near the Ukrainian Crimea.

As UNIAN reported, recently the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov said that the Crimean Bridge may be destroyed in the coming months, and the corresponding work is underway.

“Everyone is working on both long-range strikes and this (the destruction of the Kerch bridge – UNIAN). All this requires, let’s say, a complex solution. Work is underway,” he said.

In response to a clarifying question about whether the Crimean bridge could disappear in the next few months, the head of the State Administration of Ukraine assured that “there are chances.”
