It’s not a party time for tenants. Housing is becoming scarce in most regions and rents are expected to increase by around 3% in 2023, underlines Credit Suisse in a study presented Wednesday in Lausanne. The “almost exasperating sluggishness” in construction activity will soon lead to the same kind of shortage in the rental housing market as in the property market, the bank’s experts believe.
