TEN – Ten Rooms, Ten Seconds – Take up the challenge in early June on Nintendo Switch – Nintendo Switch

Solo game that doesn’t seem like much, TEN – Ten Rooms, Ten Seconds has enough to arouse the interest of players. Expected on Nintendo Switch and competing media June 3, 2022 at the low price of €4.99, we let you discover its trailer below, emphasizing the challenge that awaits you.

You have TEN seconds to live or die.

TEN – Ten Rooms, Ten Seconds is a simple yet challenging single-player game that takes place across ten floors of an underground facility. Each floor contains ten rooms, and each room locks the player in for ten seconds while various traps attempt to kill them. But there is hope: the player can collect “tokens” which they can spend in safe rooms at the start of each floor to unlock upgrades and abilities that will help them survive.

The game emphasizes the “learn from failure” approach. Each room is technically a puzzle, and by learning from their mistakes, players discover their own solution, overcome obstacles on each floor, and progress to the next level. Although simple at first glance, this game is reminiscent of challenging games of this genre, such as Super Meat Boy, and is also inspired by more modern games, such as those of the “souls like” genre.

For trophy hunters or casual gamers, there’s an easy/casual mode that allows for optional invincibility so you can just enjoy the story (which really starts to take off around halfway through the game).

For players who really want a challenge, there is an optional “Hell Mode” which offers more threats in each room.
