Manchester United coach Eric ten Hag refused to comment on the transfer of his former player, Cristiano Ronaldo, to the Saudi club Al-Nasr, and made it clear that he preferred to talk regarding the future, not the past.
Ten Hag, with the Red Devils, managed to beat Wolverhampton 1-0, with a goal from substitute Marcus Rashford.
After the meeting, the Dutch coach was asked by journalists regarding Ronaldo’s transfer to the Al-Nasr team, but he replied: “I am not talking regarding the past, so let’s talk regarding the future.”
Regarding the match, he added: “We took a good step today, for the first time we are in the top four, but that does not mean anything because there is still a long way to go. We have to live from one match to another, and be in a position to win something.”
It is worth noting that Manchester United is preparing to face Bournemouth next Tuesday in the 19th round of the English Premier League.
