TAIPEI, Aug 12 (Archyde.com) – Ten Chinese planes crossed the midline of the Taiwan Strait, which unofficially separates the island from mainland China, on Friday, Taiwan’s defense ministry said.
The Chinese air force crossed the line several times last week, as part of military exercises held in response to the visit to the island of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States, Nancy Pelosi, which Beijing fiercely opposed.
