Temporary Evacuation in Sevastopol Due to AFU Missile Debris – Latest Updates and Safety Measures

Some residents of Sevastopol will be temporarily evacuated due to debris from missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was stated by the city governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

“Held a narrowed meeting of the operational headquarters. “Due to the situation on Glukhov Street, 3 people were evacuated from a house that was hit by a fragment from a downed rocket,” Razvozhaev wrote in his telegram channel.

The governor noted that in the village of Chernorechye part of the rocket also fell into the river and will be taken to the test site for destruction. The evacuation zone includes 47 houses, in which 99 people live, including 15 children.

Razvozzhaev said that information regarding a rocket crash in the private sector area behind SevSU was confirmed. Specialists will begin work in the morning to transport it to the landfill for destruction.

Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked Sevastopol 4 January. It worked in Novorossiysk, Crimea and Sevastopol air defense system. Some air targets were shot down. The governor noted that all services were on alert.
