It has been 48 days since the war broke out.

Hamas released 24 people it was holding hostage, including 13 Israelis, 10 Thais, and one Filipino.

The Israeli military announced that it had received a list of additional hostages to be released from Hamas on the 25th, the second day of the ceasefire.

Following the hostage release, Israel also released 39 Palestinian prisoners as agreed.

Both sides are expected to release the remaining hostages and prisoners one by one by 7 a.m. on the 28th, during the ceasefire period.

Humanitarian aid, including fuel, was also allowed in the Gaza Strip, and 137 truckloads of relief goods arrived in the Gaza Strip, the largest amount since the start of the war on the 7th of last month.

But following a brief peace, both sides said the war would resume.
