Temporarily detained two tourists who beat security at Huong Pagoda because of reminders

On February 12, the police of My Duc district (Hanoi) were verifying and clarifying the incident between a group of tourists and a male security guard at Huong Tich cave, Huong pagoda.

Before that, at noon on February 11, a group of about 30 people in Hai Phong participated in the Perfume Pagoda festival. When the group was going down Huong Tich cave, Vu Van D. (SN 1992, residing in Hai Phong) climbed the opposite road to go down to the cave.

At this time, Mr. Tran Van H. (SN 2003) – a security guard at Huong Tich cave reminded D. to avoid congestion. However, D. did not comply and during the argument, this young man punched Mr. H in the face.

The two sides clashed and Mr. H. continued to be beaten by D’s group. rushed in to use punches and kicks… and Bui Duc A. (born in 1992, residing in Hai Phong, with group D.) chased and hit the victim with a wooden stick, resulting in injuries.

Receiving the news, the police promptly arrived and controlled D. and A. taken to headquarters for clarification. When the incident happened, some people recorded pictures and shared them on social networks.

Currently, My Duc District Police have detained Vu Van D. and Bui Duc A. to clarify the behavior of disturbing public order and beating the security guard of Huong Pagoda.

The case is currently being handled according to regulations.
